The History of International Society of Cryosurgery
The first International Congress of Cryosurgery (ICC) was organized in 1972 in Vienna (the president, Gottlob; the congress president, Haschek). In the second ICC in Torino (the president, Haschek; the congress president, Sesia) in 1974, the International Society of Cryosurgery was founded and Torino’s congress was named as “The 2nd World Congress of ‘International Society of Cryosurgery’.
